Eleanor Cherry (nee Rapone) passed away on May 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Cherry and formally married Clemente Gagliardi. Eleanor was a resident of Yardley for past 40 years. Loving Mother of Dr. Gary Gagliardi, Dennis Gagliardi (Robyn), Janice Gagliardi (Gary Thompson), Dr. Gregory Gagliardi (Karen) and her stepdaughter Stacey Jansen (Mark). Dear Nonna of Kara, Maureen, Christina, Gianna, Jenna and Great Nonna to Siena, Charlie, Maddie and Olivia; also survived by her brother Phillip Rapone (Maryann) of Fr. Myers, FL.

Eleanor was a graduate of Temple University, and spent her retirement years traveling the world.  Her most memorable trips included spending time on safari in Africa, climbing the pyramids in Egypt, and getting carried along the Great Wall of China.  She also traveled to Australia, Alaska, Italy, and Hawaii in addition to other destinations.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday, May 11, 2023, St. Ignatius' Church, 999 Reading Ave., Yardley Pa 19067 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM  followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM.  Interment -  PRIVATE
