Elizabeth C. Chase (nee Fricker), born April 9, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, peacefully joined the Lord on October 21, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

Bette was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Chase. Beloved and loving mother of Frederick Chase, Jr., the late Gary Chase, Denise (Randy) Seip, Catherine Chase (Joe Shimborski), Kevin (Karen) Chase, Patrick (Dawn) Chase, Timothy (Lisa) Chase, Joseph (Joanne) Chase, Mary Ellen (James) Greene, Margaret (Joseph) Brunell, Amy (John) McKee, the late Paul Chase, as well as 27 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Claire Seniff and Nancy Weitort, and brother Gerald Fricker, as well as her best friend and sister-in-law Margaret Chase.

Bette's true calling was to mothering her children and grandchildren. She was the source of comfort and love for the Chase family and beyond. Bette was active in her church and community throughout the years, always championing for a better world. She was generous of heart and spirit. She was truly an unsung hero.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Monday 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Second Street Pk. and Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 1 P.M. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice & Home Care, 12265 Townsend Rd., Philadelphia, PA, 19154 in her memory.
