Elizabeth Elefant (nee Dervalics) passed away September 21, 2023. Survivor of the Hungarian Revolution. Widow of Anthony Kozar, William Horn, and Martin Elefant. Loving mother to John, Anthony, Elizabeth Kozar and Robert. Dear Mama to Donald Kozar, Samantha Kozar and Anthony Kozar III, Rese, Jara, Farin and Mattea. Stepmother to Maria, Billy, Theresa, Tony, Shari, and Lorrie. Elizabeth is also survived by her siblings Mairka, Sanyi and the late Jyula.
Elizabeth was a professional plastic slipcover seamstress for Jack Glass Plastic Slip Covers on Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, one of the only plastic slipcover businesses. Sewed the Phillies Phanatic's t-shirts as a tailor at a tailor's shop in Flourtown PA. Professional seamstress who worked for Berkowitz Furs on South Street in Philadelphia Pa. She worked as a designer for children's apparel for Good Lad Children's Clothing in Philadelphia Pa. Her children's clothing was worn on daytime soap operas. She owned and operated her own plastic slipcover business. Long time good standing member of the former Hungarian Club on Southampton Road in Philadelphia Pa.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, September 30, 2023, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment - Sunset Memorial Park.
