Elizabeth A. "Betty" Newns (Nee Volk) passed away March 13, 2023. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Newns. Stepmother of John David, Phyllis Ann (Anthony Chismar), Jean Marie, Ann Margaret, 9 step grandchildren and 15 step grandchildren. Betty lived a great life and was loved by many friends. She fought a tough but losing battle with Cancer for 3-1/2 years. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on March 22, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) from 11:00AM-12:30PM, followed by her Funeral Service. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
