Elizabeth A. "Betty Anne" Wilfong (nee Baranyos) passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 at the age of 71.

Daughter of the late Stephan and Adelaide Baranyos. Beloved wife of Dennis C. Wilfong, and devoted mother of Dennis A. Wilfong. Cherished sister of Katherine Quartuccio (John). Loving sister-in-law of Leslie Dillon (Robert), Charles Wilfong (Anne), the late Evan Wilfong and his wife Terri, and the late Dorothy Straub and her husband Russell. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Betty Anne was a proud graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Holy Family College. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, she formed lifelong friendships with her colleagues, including her cherished "Holy Redeemer Retirement Crew."

Known for her joyful spirit, Betty Anne loved spending time with her close circle of friends affectionately known as "The Old Bags." She was also deeply passionate about plants, flowers, and gardening. Her garden was a true labor of love; a passion passed down from her mother and shared with her sister which brought her endless joy and peace.

Her greatest pride and joy was her famous Christmas tree, which dazzled every year with more than 1,300 ornaments.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 12:00–2:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, and on Monday, November 10, at St. Katherine of Siena Church from 9:00–10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
