Ella R. "Becky" Tew (née Marion) passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025 at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family.

Becky was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Uchniat and the late John Tew. She was a devoted mother to Stephen (Julie), Diane Baker (Bob), Janice Anderson (Bill), Joyce Janits (the late Michael), and the late Joseph and William. She was the adoring grandmother of ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and the cherished sister of four siblings. Becky is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Born in Jenkintown, Becky spent most of her life in Philadelphia, where she built a home full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. A passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan, she proudly held season tickets for many years. She was also a lifelong fan of the Mummers. Becky found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching, enjoying good food, watching classic black-and-white films, and taking spontaneous road trips (so long as they didn't require an overnight stay!).

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 10:00 to 11:45 AM, followed by her service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2025 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd. Newtown, PA 18940 at promptly 9:00 AM. If attending, please arrive no later than 8:45 AM at the cemetery.
