Ellen Jane Werner

Ellen Jane Werner (nee Ulmer) passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of 53 years to Chick, Ellen was a devoted mother of Brian and his wife, Adina, and a loving Mom Mom to Alyssa, Sydney, Melanie, and Douglas. She was also a proud and adoring great-grandmother to Max, Colbie, and Michael.

Ellen was the dear sister of Ruthann Davis (Jimmy) and Woody Ulmer, and sister-in-law of Phyllis McGrath. She will also be sadly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Memorial Service at 10:30 AM.
