Moon was born in 1949 in Darmstadt Germany, his family moved to the United States in the early 1960's.
Moon attended Roxborough High School and joined the Philadelphia police force in 1970. He served for

the students and faculty. Moon loved his job and all of the students, colleagues and families at PACS.
Moon was a dedicated son, husband and father. His second love was golf. He spent most weekends
chasing a little white ball around golf courses in the Philadelphia area. He beamed with pride when
recounting his hole in one or the first time he won the DD Cup, a family golf competition.
Moon will be deeply missed by all who loved him. The family will hold a memorial in the late June, as
long as the Coronavirus isolation is lifted. The date and time is to be determined and will be
disseminated via social media.
