Esther M. Lyons passed away peacefully August 27, 2020 at the age of 105. She was born in Holmesburg and was a resident of Winchester Ave. Beloved mother of Esther Black and the late Barbara Stokes. MaMa to Sherry Nelson, Michelle Mann, Elaine Black, Laurie Cohan and Tom Stokes; great grandmother of 12,  great great grandmother of 13, and great great great grandmother to one grandchild. She is also survived by many loving niece, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday September 2, 2020 from 9 to 10:15 AM (CDC PROTOCOL) at Saint Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St. (at Stanford St.) Philadelphia, PA 19136 followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment is Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Serenity Hospice Care, 3331 Street Rd. Suite 101, Bensalem, PA 19020 would be appreciated.
