Obituary

Ethel "Honey" E. Bartolotta (nee Gale), 84, of Philadelphia entered eternal peace on Sunday March 7, 2021 with her family by her side.  Honey is survived by her loving and caring husband of 25 years, Angelo Bartolotta; devoted sons Martin Agger, Jr. and Kevin Agger (Kim); 8 grandchildren including Martin Agger III, Stephanie Carideo (Chris),  Lindsey Selby (Steve), Kaitlyn Agger, and Kevin Agger, Jr.; and 9 beautiful great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her mother, Eleanor (Rebmann) Gale; her father, Robert Gale; brothers Fred (Betty) and Robert (Maryann) Gale; and her beloved son Keith Agger.

Honey was born on November 30, 1936 and was a proud graduate of John W. Hallahan class of 54'.  She was an Office Manager at Parisi, Inc. for 20+ years and took pride in doing her job well. She lived her life on her own terms and never swayed from her core beliefs and values.  Her greatest and proudest achievement was raising her three doting sons who loved her unconditionally.

Honey found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with family and friends.  When the 5:00 PM hour stuck each day, you knew Honey would have a glass of VO and ginger in hand! Her love of cats was no surprise to anyone who knew her.  Feeding and taking in the neighborhood strays gave her much pleasure and purpose.  During her golden years, Honey's days were often spent alongside Angelo, as the two were inseparable.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Saint Anselm Catholic Church located at 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Philadelphia. Her viewing will take place from 9:30-10:30 AM.  A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 10:30 AM.   Private interment.

In lieu of flowers and in admiration for Honey's love of cats, please consider making a contribution in her honor to Forgotten Cats, Inc. www/forgottencats.org

The family would also like to offer a very special Thank You to the amazing nurses at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital who helped comfort Honey in her final hours.
