Evelyn M. Pembroke

Evelyn M. Pembroke (nee Goeke) passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 27, 2026. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Eugene “Gene” Pembroke.

Evelyn was the devoted mother of Mary Beth Pembroke, Evelyn Dopkin (Len), Patricia Pembroke (Brian Kable), Lawrence (Lauren), Jennifer Diazdelvalle (Sal), Eugene Jr. and Sarah Zolynski (Ed). She was a loving and proud Grandmom to 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was the dear sister of George Goeke (Diane), Robert Goeke (Phyllis), and the late Doris Greene, Barbara Fry, and Marshall Goeke. Evelyn will also be sadly missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, and her cherished fur baby Francis.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19136, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Dominic Church Restoration Fund in Evelyn’s memory would be appreciated.
