Frances Theresa Mullen (nee Bebco) 80, of the great state of Northeast Philadelphia, tragically passed away on 9/9/2024. She led a heroic fight against cancer, which came upon her quietly but very quickly. She has moved to her promised seat at the table of our Lord.

Fran was the happy and sprightly daughter of Josephine Bebco (nee Decky), and the very proud stepdaughter of John Bebco. After meeting, mingling, and then marrying William Eugene Mullen, they birthed four outstanding progeny: William (pro-level golfer, husband of Stacey Kern), Joanne (world-changer), Jim (artsy-type) and then Tim.

Frances was a great mother, a fierce friend and a faithful neighbor to all who knew her.  Her prayer circles were epic. She believed in the good in everyone, no questions asked. Fran's love was extended to all she met, unconditionally.

Frances is survived by a plentitude of grandchildren: William, Emily, Morgan, Mila, Elliot, Matthew, Jessica, and Loretta, as well as numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousins Mickey, Stevie, Alice, Kitty and Mary, as well as a beautiful gamut of extended family too bountiful to list.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday September 15, 2024 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday at 10:00 AM followed by her Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
