Obituary

Francis X. Murray passed away peacefully January 16, 2021 with his family by his side at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Doreen "Betty". Loving father of Pat Moynihan (the late Tom), Helen Perri (Mark), Teresa Lentz (George), Francis Jr. (Kim), Christopher (the late Connie), Scott (Mary Anne), and Andrew (Shannon). Cherished Pop Pop to Megan, Gregory, Catherine, Mark Anthony, Adrienne, Stephen, Sean, Emily, Elizabeth, Scott Michael, Ryan, Joseph, Sophia, Liam, Kaitlin, Tristan, and Kyle; "G Pop" of Charlotte, Aidan, Iain, Fiona, Callum, James, Everett, Maggie, Olivia, Lena, Isabel, Lucas, Ana Lucia, Lola, and Thomas.

A viewing will be held on Friday Eve 6:00-9:00 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 and Saturday 8:30-9:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Francis was an integral and important part of Crispin Gardens AC for 50-plus years. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in his memory to Crispin Gardens AC, 3059 Winchester Ave. Phila., PA 19136.

Due to the current circumstances, Francis' family would like to state that they understand if people are not able to attend his viewing or his funeral and ask that you say a prayer in his memory.
