Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from SEPTA Transit Workers Union #234. He was also an avid Phillies fan and bowler. Husband of the late Kathleen Frances (nee Saunders). Father of Francis J. (Dorothy), Vincent, Patricia Smith, Daniel, Kathleen Ann Olsen (Dave), and the late Michael. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2 brothers John "Jack", Vincent "Vinny", and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to rejoice in his remembrance Saturday, 9 A.M. at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Phila., PA 19116. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M.
