Everyone who ever knew him would agree! Gap was a team member of the 1940's Norristown baseball team, The Redpeppers , where he adopted the new nickname, "The Count." He served his country in World War II and worked for 38 years for SEPTA, retiring as a shop manager in 1986 with yet another nickname, "Dell."
Gap's passions were golf, dancing and travel. He made friends easily wherever he went. They called him, "The Mayor" at his favorite dining spot, as he was well known, respected and loved by all who passed through the doors.
He passes now through another door into the arms of God, with whom he had a lifetime loving relationship and in whose house he will dwell forevermore.
