Gene (Geno) Kornock 67 Philadelphia passed away suddenly on Jan 26, 2020. Born Aug 15, 1952 in Ashland PA to Eugene & Elinore (Moyer) Kornock. Gene worked for the city of Philadelphia with the Mounted Police as a Hostler and then a Municipal Guard before retiring in 2010. He had a quick sense of humor and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Gene was preceded in death by his loving parents & his youngest brother Greg. Gene is survived by his brothers Keith (Karen) and Kevin (Lynn), nieces and nephews Lynn Hartzell (Michael), Kevin Kornock (Kristin), Jill Kornock, Steven Kornock, David Kornock, Keith Kornock Jr (Sam), Melissa Lollar (Jason), Justin Kornock, Christine Stoerrle (Brian), and Joey & Billy Foy; great nieces and nephews Jake and Emma Hartzell, Abigail and Elliot Kornock, Serena Kornock, JD and Liam Kornock, Hunter and Sierra Stoerrle, and Nathan Landis.Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday 6pm to 7:45pm BURNS Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila. 19114 followed by his service 8pm INT.Private.
