Genevieve B. Knecht (nee Bochnak) passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Knecht and loving mother of Jim Knecht.
Genevieve was a proud graduate of Little Flower High School. She dedicated many years of her career to the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked in computer security.
In her free time, Genevieve enjoyed sewing and took pride in creating things with her hands.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Genevieve’s memory to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134, would be appreciated.
