George H. Gehring

George H. Gehring passed away on May 7, 2026. Beloved husband of 21 years to Maureen Gaffney Gehring. Dear father of Pam, Melissa, George, and Joseph Gehring. Stepfather of Bridget Gaffney and the late Christopher Gaffney. Loving Pop of Ryan, MaryRose, Olivia, Mila, and Kayleigh. Brother of May, Anthony, and John.

George will also be sadly missed by his in-laws Joseph and Kathleen Cleary, Eileen and Jim Livengood, and Bill Hallihan, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A true family man, George cherished the time he spent with those he loved most. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed spending his free time playing golf and shuffleboard. George’s warmth, humor, and devotion to his family will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at Burns Funeral Home,9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by his Service at 4:00 PM.
