George W. Hunter, IV, passed away May 23, 2024, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Maryann (nee Morrison). Devoted father of Karen McLaughlin (Andrew), Janice Fritz (Daniel), Christine Morton (Chris Stasnek), Georgeann Dean (Matthew) and the late George "Skip" Hunter. Loving Poppy of 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

George will be remembered for his love of gardening, his extensive travels, and his ability to fix almost anything. He often reminisced about his time in the Navy as a machinist during the Korean War on board both the USS Leyte and Hornet aircraft carriers. His daughters, to whom he taught his handy and creative ways, are comforted knowing that his legacy will live on through them.
