George C. Wagner

George C. Wagner passed away on May 17, 2026.

Loving father of George Wagner (Amy). Cherished Grandpop of Brandon. Dear brother of the late William Wagner (Lois) and the late Helen Baker. George is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Born in Philadelphia, George spent his entire career working in the bar and restaurant industry, a profession that perfectly matched his outgoing personality and love for people. He truly enjoyed dining out and trying new restaurants long before being a “foodie” became popular. George appreciated good food, good company, and always looked forward to discovering a new favorite spot.

George was also a devoted Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan and was always ready for a spirited conversation about his favorite teams, players, and games. Above all else, he treasured spending time with his family and the many friendships he made throughout his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Burns Funeral Home from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by his Memorial Service.

Interment will be private.
