Georgeanna R. Ruth (nee Dillman), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered eternal rest on October 20, 2024, unexpectedly at the age of 88.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Clarence B. and Ruth Dillman and the devoted wife of the late Herbert C. Ruth. Georgeanna was a loving mother to JoAnne C. Ruth (William Sauer), Herbert M. Ruth, Kathleen M. Strickler, Nancy J. Robles (Pedro), and the late Karen R. McCall. She was an adoring grandmom to Tyler, Elyssa, Dylan, Deanna, Shawn, Luke, Jeffrey, Rose, Xander, and a proud great grandmom to Penny and Parker. She was predeceased by her siblings, Clarence B. Jr. and Ruth E. Newman, and is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

A devoted parishioner of Maternity BVM for 30 years, Georgeanna was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America/Trinity Court. She cherished spending time with her family, indulging in crafts, and enjoying trips to the casino. Professionally, Georgeanna worked at 1st Pennsylvania Bank before taking time to raise her children. Afterward, she continued her career as a secretary at Germantown Hospital, where her kindness and dedication made her a valued colleague.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19115, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
