Gerald "Jerry" J. Moresi passed away on June 29, 2025. He was the loving son of the late Hugo and Edna Moresi (née Palermo) and brother of Thomas Moresi. Jerry is also survived by his cousins and many close friends.

A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Jerry served his country with honor before beginning a long career as an insulator at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, where he worked for over 20 years.

Jerry was an avid Philadelphia sports fan—especially loyal to his beloved Phillies—and played baseball in his younger years. He had the opportunity to travel to Europe and cherished the chance to see the world. A devoted animal lover, he especially adored his cats.

Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart, loyal friendship, and love for life. He will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114) at 8:00 AM and will depart promptly at 8:30 AM for the 9:30 AM service.
