Geraldine "Gerry" Florek (nee Wisniewski) passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thomas Florek and a devoted mother to Cherylanne Kruse (Robert), Thomas Florek, and the late Joseph Florek. Gerry was a doting grandmother to Jill and David, and a dear sister to Theodore Wisniewski and the late William Wisniewski. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A proud graduate of Hallahan High School, Class of 1959, Gerry was known for her unwavering work ethic and independent nature. She took great pride in her work at Food Fair/Pantry Pride, PNB Bank, and Rancocas Anesthesiology, where she contributed greatly to each place she worked.

Gerry was a true friend and kind neighbor who loved to talk and make connections and lend a helping hand to others whenever possible. Her laughter and generous spirit will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, followed by her service at 11:30 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the The Wounded Warrior Project , an organization close to her heart.
