Gloria M. Hess (nee Taurino) on December 27, 2024, at the age of 87. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Carl Hess, Sr. and a devoted mother to her sons, Carl Hess, Jr. (Carrie) and Roger Hess (Felicia). She was also a proud and loving Mom Mom to her grandchildren, Meadow, Nicholas,  Kayla, David, Chad, Cody, Lisa, Tyler, and Isabella.

Gloria is survived by her dear sister-in-law, Janice Taurino, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Dolly, Mickey, and Peter.
Gloria was a woman of great joy. She found comfort and peace in her love for her cats, her beautiful garden, and the vibrant cardinal birds that visited her home.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday January 11, 2025 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 10:00 to 12:00, followed by her service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
