It is with heavy hearts and sadness to announce Harold J. Peters passed away on August 24, 2023 at age 93. Harold passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. Harold was a US Air Force Veteran and a retired Philadelphia Police Officer, proudly serving his community for 33 years. He touched so many lives by feeding the hungry and clothing the poor; not only was he a Pillar within the community but also was a devoted husband for over 50 years to the late Mildred Peters (nee Berkelback). Loving father of Regina Flite (Francis), Cynthia Connors (Joseph), and the late Denise Daehling (George), and Michael Peters (Colleen). Best Pop Pop ever of Amy, Kevin, Melissa, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Caitlyn, Ashley, Heather, Hallie, Eddie, Lexie, and Amber; Great Pop Pop and Uncle to many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. When Harold was not enjoying his family, he was feeding his stray feline friends and his fur companions Mia, Toby, Tate and Reece. Whomever crossed his path will forever remember his passion for singing and dancing.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday Eve at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 6:00-8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134 would be appreciated.
