Hession
August 22, 1947 – October 30, 2024
Harry D. Hession passed away peacefully at home on October 30, of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a Parkinson's related Disease. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" (nee Lynch). Harry is also survived by his children, Kelly Davis, Kevin Hession and Joy DeCaro (Vincent); grandchildren Caitlyn, Shannon, Dylan, Carmen, and Gia; and his sister Mary Ann Achey. He was predeceased by his parents, Edith nee Sealy and Harry, uncle William Hession and sister Edith Schiffler. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
Harry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1968; he was awarded two Purple Hearts for his combat during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of many Veteran organizations, and the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896, where he served as Secretary and Trustee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ephrem's RC Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, on November 26 at 11:00 A.M. Friends may call that morning from 10:00-10:45 A.M.
