Loving husband of 52 years to Marie (nee Reilly). Father of Joseph (Jackie), Gerry (Kathy), Jim (Jacqui), Susan Bescript (John), and John. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Son of the late Harry S. and Antoinette, and brother of the late Antoinette. He was a retired employee of the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he worked for over 35 years. He served aboard the U.S.S. Irwin during the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Sunday evening, 6-9 P.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (S. of Grant Ave.). A second Viewing will be held Monday morning, 9-9:45 A.M. at St. Matthew Church (upper church), 3000 Cottman Ave., Phila., PA 19149. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
