Helen T. Banas

Helen T. Banas (née Sicinski) passed away suddenly on April 2, 2026, at the age of 99. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno and a devoted mother to Susan Sweeney (Ed). She was a cherished and adoring “Babcia” to her grandson Edward. She is also survived by her daughter Denise Fludina and granddaughter Lauren.

Helen was predeceased by her dear siblings Irene, Henry, Chester, Matthew, Edward, Leona Maresca, Eugene, Stanley, Alfred, and Richard. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews across several generations.

Helen took great pride in her Polish heritage and found joy in passing down family traditions. She enjoyed making homemade pierogies and other traditional Polish dishes, which created lasting memories for her loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, PA, at 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
