Helen Dunwell

Helen Dunwell (née Durante) passed away June 4, 2026, at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Bud Dunwell, Helen was predeceased by her cherished son, Richie Dunwell (June). She is survived by her loving daughter, Patty Quigley (Ray).

A devoted and proud Nanny, Helen will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Jackie Smith (Justin), Timothy Dunwell (Meg), Ray Quigley (AnneMarie) and the late Nick Quigley; Great-Nanny of Ben, Henry, Abby, Maddy, Timmy, Riley, and Miles. Helen will also be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Helen loved cooking for those she cared about and found great joy in spending time with her family in North Wildwood, where countless cherished memories were made over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
