Henry "Harry" J. Rhodes of Levittown passed away Sunday September 26, 2010 at Attleboro Nursing Home. A Korean War Veteran and retired employee of Eastern Metal Spray, Harry was a member of American Legion Post #960 and a former coach and umpire for the Levittown and Continental Baseball Leagues. He was also an avid bowler.
Husband of the late Nancy (nee Gibson) he is the loving father of Henry J. Jr., Wendy (Ron) Wertz, Cynthia Vannauker, Kathy (Tim) Price-Pais, and Nancy Lewis; also survived by his loving and devoted companion Anna Rago, brother John K. Carson, sisters Gladys Oppman, Virginia Asay, and Deanna Carson; numerous grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by brother Arthur Rhodes, George Rhodes, and Russell Rhodes.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday 10 to 11:15 AM Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Rd., Levittown, PA followed by his funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment is Emile Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, 3331 Street Rd., Suite 410, Bensalem, PA 19020 in his memory would be appreciated.
