Age 72, on February 7, 2009. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Boykin), devoted father of Lynn Piazza (Mark), Ann Marie Atherholt (Jerry), Howard Jr. (Chrissy) and Thomas, loving grandfather of Larry, Amanda, Brianna, Erica, Jessica and Nicole. Beloved son of the late George and Eva, dear brother of the late George and Jr.(Eleanor) also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He served in the Navy on the USS Caperton DD-650. Member of Tin Can Sailors (the Natl. Assoc. of Destroyer Veterans) and the Elks Organization of North Wildwood. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday Evening 7-9PM and also Tuesday 8:30-9:15AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. (so. of Grant Ave.) followed by his funeral mass 10AM St. Bernard Church, Bleigh and Cottage Sts.
