Passed out of his pain on Sept. 16, 2010, at the age of 79. Howard was born in Fishtown on Oct 6, 1930 and lived on Oxford Street. Howard retired from the Teamsters Local 107 in 1992. He was a son of Fishtown. He was a hard working man, who loved to play pinochle and go to the casino. Beloved husband of 44 years to Eleanor F. (nee Morris) who preceded him in death in 1994. Devoted father of Barbara (George) Berg, Zac Taylor (David Meyer), Kimberly (Lenny) Turzanski. Loving grandfather of 5 (Julie, Christopher,Jacqueline, Matthew and Alison)and great grandfather of 3, (Natalie, Cameron, Elli). Dear brother of Dorothy Searle, AnnaMae Schimmel, Robert Kaupp, Emma Koezler, Ruth Frombach, Henrietta Smith, Thomas Kaupp who have all preceeded him in death. Survived by sister Anna (nee Deckert) Horner. Current Husband to Wilma (nee McDowell) since 2002. Wilma and Howard enjoyed the remaining years of Howard's life traveling, playing cards, and visiting casinos. Step daughter, Amy (John) Lewandowski and step grandson Micheal took excellent care of Howard and Wilma in her home in Middletown for the past 3 years.

Relatives, friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Wednesday September 22nd at The Holy Name of Jesus. Interment will follow at North Cedar Hill Cemetery.
