Howard William Kay born March 29, 1935 passed away after a brief illness July 1 2021 at 86 years of age. He was a resident of Bensalem for 38 years. Born in Philadelphia, Howard was the son of Clarence and Ruth Kay. He is survived by his loving wife Helen "Lynn" Kay, his sister-in-law Nancy McClay (Bob), uncles Jerry Nordin (Delores), Ray Nordin (Ann), his brother Clayton Kay (Barbara) his son David Kay, and his daughter Deborah Kay Barrington. Howard attended several colleges to earn is Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology. He started his career at RCA Astro, moved to General Electric and completed his career at Lockheed Martin. He loved his job and was a lifetime learner always updating his repertoire in technology and science. He was a member of the Levittown-Bristol Kiwanis club for 17 years where he was instrumental in streamlining the Kiwanis Give-A-Christmas program to help children and families in the Bucks County area. He will be greatly missed by his Kiwanis family. He loved gardening and was a member of the Trevose Horticultural Society. Hobbies he loved were sailing in Barnegate Bay, downhill skiing and learning to fly a Cessna 172. Howard was an accomplished photographer and was requested by local clubs to take photos at their special events. His trips to Longwood Gardens, The Philadelphia Flower Show and The Gardens for Sculpture gave him great pleasure. He was always ready to help people and show kindness to them and to his pets Tucker and Benny. A memorial service for Howard will be at a later date.
