Obituary

Hugh served with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.  He loved sitting on his porch in Ocean City, NJ.  He also enjoyed gardening, dancing, and loud music.  He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.  Hugh's most important activity and what he most enjoyed was being with his children and grandchildren; especially at his annual Fireplace Decorating Tradition.

Loving husband of Linda (nee Lee).  Beloved father of Hugh P. (Susan), Kelly Curley (Mike), and Kevin (Kathleen).  Pop of Sean, Lindsey, Mark, Grace, Kevin, Cara, Liam, and Violet.  Brother of Jack (Lennie), Wayne (Chris), Bill "Ozzie" (Mary), Anna, Kim, and the late Joey (Luba), Mike (Teri), Patrick (Peggy).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday evening, July 1, 2021, from 6-9 P.M. and Friday morning, July 2, 2021, from 7:30-8:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114.  Funeral Mass 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Calvary Church.  Interment 11:30 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
