Hugh F. "Bud" Maher. Suddenly May 1, 2018.  Beloved husband of 57 years to Dorothy (nee Moylan).  Devoted father of Kevin J. Maher, Maureen Maher, Suzanne Mooney and her husband Sean Mooney.  Loving grandfather of Sean Michael and Kaydence Mooney, dear brother of Joseph and the late Eleanor.  He will also be sadly missed by his best bud "Nikodemus", his cousins, nieces and nephews.  Bud was a graduate of the First Graduating Class of Father Judge High School.   A former employee of Core States Bank, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Keller Williams Real Estate. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Sunday Eve. 7 to 9 PM and also Monday 8:30 to 9:15 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., followed by his Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Jerome Church.  Interment - Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Father Judge High School, 3301 Solly Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136 in his memory would be appreciated.
