John J. McGill III, known affectionately as "Jack," passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 69. Jack was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.

Jack was the beloved husband of Kathy (née Danielwicz), and the loving father of Ryan and Katelyn. He was a cherished brother to Loretta Tarczewski (John) and the late Paul McGill, and a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jack was a proud graduate of North Catholic High School, Class of 1973, and spent over 30 years working as a purchasing agent at Delaware Ship Supply.

He was known for his witty sense of humor and elaborate storytelling. He had a caring heart and generous spirit, always willing to help others. Most of all, he loved his family more than anything in the world.

Jack found great joy in the simple pleasures of life like gardening, reading, and watching HGTV & the History Channel. He was his happiest in Cape May, where he enjoyed spending time by the water and making memories with family.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Jack on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19114. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
