At the age of 73. Jake served with the Philadelphia Fire Dept. from 1959 to 1980. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Fanning). Devoted father of Colleen Dooley, Jacob T. "Tim" (Colleen) and the late Sharon. Grandfather of Stacy (Fred), Danielle, Jackie (John), Victoria, John, Nicole, Morgan, Katie, Alexandra, Jacob and Rachel. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Thomas Booth, Elizabeth Dougherty, Helen Fitzgerald and the late Jerome Booth. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Wed Eve 6-9 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME 1428 E. Columbia Ave. (at Fkd. Ave.). Also Thursday from 8AM-9:45AM at St. Laurentius Church 1608 E. Berks St. (at Memphis St.) Phila., PA 19125 followed by his Funeral Mass 10 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Family prefers donations to St. Laurentius CYO at the above mentioned church in his memory.
