James F. Boyce, Sr., passed away on May 14, 2025. He was the devoted father of Debra Sannasardo and James F. Boyce, Jr. (Katherine), and a proud Pop-Pop to Alex, David Rowan (Christine), and Debra Sannasardo. He is also lovingly remembered by his dear brother John Boyce (the late Frances), Rev. Joseph Boyce, and was predeceased by his siblings Sister Joan Dolores Boyce and Charles Boyce (the late Eileen). James is also survived by many cherished great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James dedicated over 40 years of service to Conrail and took great pride in his work. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country with honor. He was an active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Philadelphia, embracing his heritage and faith.

A devout Irish Catholic, James held his faith close to his heart and made numerous trips to Ireland to visit his extended family, keeping strong ties to his ancestral roots.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, followed by his Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

James will be remembered for his unwavering faith, deep love for family, and proud Irish spirit.
