Past away February 27, 2018 with his family by his side. James was a retired Zamboni driver for the Philadelphia Flyers, Phantoms and the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. He is the beloved husband of the late Helen M. (nee Sloss), loving father of Kelly A. McFarland (Hugh), Kim Russo (Charles) and David Wueger (Michelle). Grandfather to Stephanie, Patrick, Kelsey and Brooke. He is also survived by 4 Great Grandchildren, 4 brothers Walter (Denise), Bobby, Michael, and Eddie. He is the Godfather of the late Miles Miller; dear Uncle to Alexis Miller and many other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday Eve  6-9 P.M. and Monday morning 9-10:30 A.M. at the Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila. PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church. Interment will be Tuesday morning 10:30 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.  A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 9 A.M. and leave for the cemetery at precisely 9:15 A.M.
