He passed away at Delaware Valley Veterans Home after a brief illness. Retired from the U.S. Army, T/5. Husband of the late Hildegard. Beloved son of the late James Joseph, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth. Survived by his loving brothers, John R. (Kathleen) and Eugene F. Driscoll and close friends and neighbors. Jim served in WWII from 1942 until the end of the war, in which he received a Bronze Star serving in the European and Rhineland Campaigns. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, he became a Philadelphia Police Officer and retired after 20 years of service. Funeral services are private at the family's request.
