James Peter Kelly, of Mayfair, died on June 16, 2023 at the age of 72.  Jim is survived by his son James Kelly (Dara) and by his former wife and best friend Margaret (O'Reilly) Kelly.  Jim was a loving Gramps to grandsons Duncan, Drake, and Dean.  He is also survived by his sister Mary Anderson (Steve), cousins, nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law.  Jim was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Julie Ann; his parents James and Mary Kelly (nee Scanlan); and his siblings Bill Kelly and Kathy Sala.
Jim was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 39 and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (formerly Local 8).
Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 9-10:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. Funeral Service 10:30 A.M.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
