James F. Kelly, "Jim," passed away suddenly on October 19, 2024, at the age of 70. He was the cherished son of the late Thomas and Mary Cavanaugh and the beloved husband of Theresa (nee Fleming) for 42 years.

Jim was a loving father to Cynthia Kelly Izzi (Brian) and Pamela Kelly (Bob Van Kirk), and he took great joy in being a wonderful Pop Pop to his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Kylie, and Ella. He was also a dear brother to the late Thomas and William Kelly. He is also survived by his extended family and many nieces and nephews.

A proud graduate of St. James Catholic School for Boys, Jim furthered his education at Widener University. He dedicated his career to various roles, working at the Philadelphia shipyard and DuPont, before becoming a self-employed contractor for the last 15 years. Jim took immense pride in his work and thoroughly enjoyed the craft of working with his hands.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, October 28, 2024, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
