James W. Kirk, Sr. passed away December 9, 2023, at the age of 94.  A lifelong resident of the Fishtown Section of Philadelphia. Beloved husband of the late Corinne.  Devoted father of James Jr. (Nancy), Corinne Andrews (the late David), Joseph, and John (Theresa).  Loving Poppy of 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Dorothy Sobotka; also survived by his beloved brother in law and friend Martin Golden and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Burns Funeral Home, 1428 E. Columbia Ave., Phila, and also to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, Holy Name of Jesus Church, 701 E.
