James J. Leitner, Jr., "Jim", passed away suddenly on June 4, 2026.

Devoted father to James John Leitner III (Leena) and William Philip Leitner. He was a loving brother to Rhonda Palek (Glenn) and a cherished boyfriend to Susan Ferretti, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years.

Jim took immense pride in his home and was meticulous in its upkeep, always ensuring everything was cared for with attention and detail. An avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams and celebrate with his friends. Jim also had a deep appreciation for classic cars.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by his Funeral Service 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
