A Korean war veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 107. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Boyle-Giel). Loving father of Judith Ellmer (Steven), Charles Giel, Jr., Linda Day (David), and Daniel Giel. Grandpop of Robert Ellmer, Jamie Ellmer, James Day and Jennifer Day. Loving brother of Rita Dooley (James), Anne Caro (John) and Thomas Edwards (Rita). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
