James Robert Palek "Sunny Walker" died suddenly February 6, 2009 at the age of 75. A resident of Churchville, PA, James was born in Philadelphia and formerly Fishtown. He is a graduate of Mastbaum Tech School. James is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Shirley (nee Jones) Palek, his three daughters Debbie, Lisa, and Dawn, his six sons James, Brian, Keith, Glenn, Scott, Shawn, 12 grandchildren Jimmy, Jerry, Angie, Kimberly, Jillian, Keith, Kevin, Eric, Scott, Nicole, Samantha and Alexis, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday 10AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila, PA followed by his service 12Noon. Interment-Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
