James S. Swantek, Sr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 16, 2021. A retired US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of 55 years to Diane (nee Porter). Loving father of Theresa Funk, and James Jr. (Annmarie). Dear Pop of Michael, Nicole, Caitlyn, and Mikey; great grandpop of Luca. Jim was an avid Notre Dame fan who loved to garden, spend time with his family and his beloved pets. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday August 4, 2021 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 from 8:30-9:45 AM followed by his Service at 10:00 AM.
