James R. Thompson, a cherished father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Thompson.

James is survived by his loving children: Jay (Marcie), Drew, and Mark (Jen), and his adored grandchildren: Lauryn, Michael, Charlie, and Nate.

James was a proud US Navy veteran. He had a passion for watching sports and was a devoted dog lover. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
