IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jane T.
Powers
July 30, 1946 – August 19, 2025
Jane Theresa Powers, (née Moeller )79, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 30, 1946, Jane spent her life devoted to the people and places she cherished most. A proud Philadelphian, she built a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter, compassion, and kindness. For 56 years, she was the beloved wife of James J. Powers Jr., who survives her.
Jane was a devoted mother to four children: James W. Powers and his wife Heather of Madison, NJ; Joseph Powers and his wife Jennifer of Philadelphia; Jacquelyn A. Raven (Kyle) of Texas City, TX; and Jason R. Powers of Pasadena TX. Her heart found even more joy in her role as grandmother to James, Jenna, Jason, Anthony, Talen, Jordyn, Jayden, Julian and Jada to each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. Loving sister to William Moeller, Patricia (Rick Bevilaqua) and Dave Moeller and survived by wonderful cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jane had a special way of making those around her feel valued and loved. She nurtured her small garden and always found beauty in the simple things. She enjoyed walking the boards at the Jersey Shore, never missed her weekly bingo games, and savored warm summer evenings on the front stoop with a glass of wine in hand and good company nearby.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
