Jason passed away unexpectedly at sixteen years of age on March 10, 2017. He was the loving son of Maria Cunningham and Thomas Tran; the brother of Meghann, Frankie and Benny; and the grandson of Mary and Joseph Cunningham and Ngot Tran. Jay will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jason's free spirit and vivacious enthusiasm touched countless lives wherever he went. His unmistakable serenity about himself, along with his charismatic personality, garnered meaningful friendships, almost effortlessly. Jason was an avid and talented skateboarder, endeared by the skateboarding communities in Philadelphia, PA and Anaheim, CA. Because of his boundless imagination, combined with his unique sense of humor, he was loved by all. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Sunday evening , March 19, 2017, 6-9 P.M. and Monday morning , March 20, 2017, 8:30-9:30 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. , Phila., PA 19114 .  Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church.
